Brainspotting is a focused, neuroscience-informed therapy that helps you access, process, and release emotional and physiological responses connected to trauma, anxiety, and stress. It is based on the idea that where you look affects how you feel, and that “brainspots” can be used to help access deeper emotional material held in the nervous system.
If you’ve ever felt like talking about something isn’t enough, Brainspotting may offer a different path toward healing.
Traumatic or overwhelming experiences are not only stored in memory—they can also be held in the body and nervous system. This can show up as:
Brainspotting works by helping you access these deeper layers of experience in a focused and supported way.
Brainspotting is a therapeutic approach that uses eye position and focused attention to help identify specific points in your visual field (“brainspots”) that connect with emotional or somatic experiences.
By gently holding awareness on these spots while staying connected to your internal experience, your brain and body are able to process material that may not be easily accessible through talk therapy alone.
It is a flexible, client-centered approach that works at your pace.
Brainspotting can support healing in a wide range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, and chronic stress.

You remain in control throughout the process, and sessions are paced based on your comfort and readiness.
I integrate Brainspotting within a trauma-informed, client-centered framework. Your safety, goals, and emotional readiness guide the process at all times.
Brainspotting may be used on its own or integrated with other approaches such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), depending on your needs.
My goal is to support both emotional processing and practical coping, so you can feel more grounded, regulated, and connected in your daily life.
Brainspotting may be helpful if you are experiencing:
If you are unsure whether Brainspotting is a good fit, we can discuss your goals and decide together what approach will best support your healing.
Healing does not always happen through words alone. Brainspotting offers a different pathway for accessing and processing emotional experiences at a deeper level.
If you're ready to explore this approach, I invite you to schedule an appointment and learn how Brainspotting may support your healing process.
